I’ll be presenting the findings of my PhD research to the Western Australian Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) in early December 2016. The EPA has statutory obligations under the Environmental Protection Act 1986 to conduct environmental impact assessments, initiate measures to protect the environment from environmental harm and pollution and to provide advice to the Minister on environmental matters generally.

This will be an excellent opportunity to disseminate my research and influence policy and decisions relating to conservation of Western Australia’s considerable biological assets.
